Profile: Tim Carmody is a technology and media writer for Wired and Wired.com, resident bookfuturist at Snarkmarket, and occasional contributor to Nieman Journalism Lab, The Atlantic, and a bunch of other places. He is also a dad and a recovering academic. Tim's areas of specialization include: vintage television, Westerns, media theory, modernist poetry, sports and technology journalism, TV remotes, print culture, cartoons, European philosophy, and pop music.
